When starting this project, I had to choose 1 photograph from a set of 80. Each of these pictures contained portraits, showing people from all ages throughout the years. My eyes fell on this particular photograph of a young women with curly hair and a strong, determined look in her eyes. I decided to name her 'Esther' and gave her a story to tell. - in Dutch
